Thanksgiving Mac and Cheese

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup cooked chicken ham, diced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Whisk in milk gradually, followed by garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Cook until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. Fold in the cooked macaroni, turkey bacon, and chicken ham.
  7. Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with more cheese if desired.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
