Tater Tot Casserole with Ground Beef

A flavorful and hearty Tater Tot casserole made with ground beef, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onions and seasonings until cooked through.
  3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and half of the cheddar cheese.
  4. Spread the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  5. Top with a layer of tater tots and the remaining cheese.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the tater tots are golden brown.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños.
  • Leftover casserole can be reheated easily in the microwave.
