  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, pecans, sugars, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and eggs until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and buttermilk to the butter mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
