A delightful treat combining the classic flavors of Samoas cookies with an easy homemade recipe.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add in the softened butter and combine until crumbly.
  4. Press the mixture into a baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and spread the caramel sauce evenly on top.
  6. Sprinkle shredded coconut over the caramel layer.
  7. Drizzle melted chocolate chips on top.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator until set, then cut into bars.

Notes

  • For extra coconut flavor, toast the shredded coconut before adding.
