- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin spice
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, pumpkin spice, salt, and ground ginger.
- In another large bowl, whisk the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and oil together.
- Add eggs and pumpkin puree, then mix until smooth.
- Stir in the buttermilk.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Scoop the batter into the donut pan, filling each mold about halfway.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let donuts cool before glazing.
- To make the glaze, mix brown sugar with a bit of milk until you reach desired consistency.
- Dunk each donut in the glaze and let it set on a wire rack.
