Monte Cristo Breakfast Casserole

A deliciously savory breakfast casserole featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for any morning!

Ingredients

  • 6 slices bread
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
  3. Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg to the egg mixture.
  4. Layer the bread on the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
  5. Scatter the turkey bacon and chicken ham over the bread.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and meat.
  7. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.

Notes

  • Can be prepared a day in advance and baked in the morning.
