Low Carb Philly Cheesesteak Casserole

A delicious twist on a classic dish, perfect for low carb diets!

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 8 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 medium bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop into pieces.
  3. In the same skillet, add ground turkey, onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Cook until turkey is browned and vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Pour in the heavy cream and mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with chopped turkey bacon and shredded provolone cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
