Low Carb Philly Cheesesteak Casserole

A delicious low carb version of the classic Philly cheesesteak casserole featuring turkey bacon.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the ground beef, bell peppers, and onions. Cook until the beef is browned and the vegetables are tender.
  4. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  5. In a casserole dish, layer the beef mixture and crumble the cooked turkey bacon on top.
  6. Sprinkle shredded provolone cheese over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
