A delicious twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, this low carb casserole is packed with flavor and comfort.

  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  3. Add the onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms, and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in the garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  5. In a bowl, combine the heavy cream and half of the provolone cheese, then stir into the beef mixture.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
