  • 2 pounds beef stew meat
  • 3 apples, diced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 cups broth (beef or vegetable)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the beef stew meat and brown on all sides.
  3. Stir in the onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Add the diced apples, carrots, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Pour in the apple cider and broth, then season with salt and pepper.
