- 4 large potatoes
- 8 slices turkey bacon
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Wash and peel the potatoes, then slice them thinly.
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop into pieces.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, sprinkle with half of the cheese, and add half of the bacon.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cheese, and bacon.
- In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then pour over the layered potatoes.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
