  • 4 large potatoes
  • 8 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash and peel the potatoes, then slice them thinly.
  3. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop into pieces.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, sprinkle with half of the cheese, and add half of the bacon.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cheese, and bacon.
  6. In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then pour over the layered potatoes.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
