  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 crusty rolls
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, sliced

Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the crock pot.
  2. In a bowl, mix beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Pour over the roast.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the meat is tender.
  4. Remove the roast from the crock pot and shred with two forks.
  5. Return shredded beef to the pot and stir well.
  6. Serve beef on crusty rolls topped with Swiss cheese.
