Crock Pot Baked Ziti

A delicious and easy recipe for baked ziti in a crock pot, perfect for family dinners.

  • 12 ounces ziti pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, then drain the fat.
  2. In the crock pot, layer the ingredients starting with half of the marinara sauce, cooked ziti, ground beef, and mozzarella cheese.
  3. Repeat the layers and finish with the remaining marinara sauce and water.
  4. Cover and cook on low for about 4-5 hours, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add sautéed onions and peppers to the beef.
  • You can use any type of pasta; just adjust the cooking time accordingly.
