Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta

A deliciously creamy and spicy pasta dish that combines chicken and turkey bacon for a satisfying meal.

  • 8 ounces fettuccine
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add diced chicken and cook until browned.
  5. Add garlic and Cajun seasoning; cook for an additional minute.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  8. Add the cooked fettuccine and turkey bacon back into the skillet; toss to combine.
  9. Season with salt and black pepper as desired.
  10. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For extra heat, consider adding more Cajun seasoning.
  • This dish can be made in advance and reheated.
