Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts for the topping.
  6. Fill muffin cups halfway with batter, sprinkle with topping, and then fill the cups to the top with remaining batter.
  7. Sprinkle more topping on the top of each muffin.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
