Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread

A moist and flavorful banana bread with a delightful cinnamon swirl that is easy to make and perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat.

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter.
  4. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
  6. Gradually add the flour and stir until just combined.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix the ground cinnamon and brown sugar.
  8. Pour half of the batter into a greased loaf pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon sugar mixture, then top with the remaining batter and finish with the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Notes

  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
  • Can be enjoyed plain or with butter.
