- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas and mix in the melted butter.
- Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt.
- Gradually add the flour and mix until just combined.
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Layer half of the banana bread batter in the prepared loaf pan, then sprinkle with half of the cinnamon sugar mixture. Add the remaining batter on top and finish with the remaining cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
