Chicken Noodle Casserole

A comforting dish that’s perfect for family dinners. This Chicken Noodle Casserole combines tender chicken, hearty noodles, and a creamy sauce baked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mixed vegetables, half of the cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the cooked noodles to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider adding diced celery or onions to the mixture.
  • This casserole can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
