- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups cream cheese
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt; gradually add to the butter mixture.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into a greased pan.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth; add the caramel sauce and heavy cream, mixing until combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter.
- Top with the remaining brownie batter and swirl gently.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until set. Cool before serving.
