  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt; gradually add to the butter mixture.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into a greased pan.
  6. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth; add the caramel sauce and heavy cream, mixing until combined.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter.
  8. Top with the remaining brownie batter and swirl gently.
  9. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until set. Cool before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, drizzle more caramel sauce on top before serving.
  • Let it chill in the fridge for a few hours for the best texture.
