  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 tablespoons browned butter

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, boil apple cider until it reduces to 1 cup. Let it cool.
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugars, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and reduced cider to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for 10 minutes, then let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread with butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Roll up tightly.
  6. Slice into rolls and place in a baking dish. Allow to rise again for 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. For the icing, whisk together powdered sugar and browned butter. Drizzle over warm rolls.
